Last weekend I came home from church and my 3-4 lb Koi was lying on it's side in just a few inches of water. My worst pond nightmare had come true: the liner was leaking and I had no idea where... This week I discovered a rock had fallen in right by the water fall and punctured the liner. It left a hole about the size of a quarter. As soon as I tried to clean and patch it, it became the size of a soft ball... Not good. It had become old and brittle and repair wasn't an option. Even worse... So I've spent the last two days destroying the old pond and building a new one with a high quality rubber liner. I'll post pics of the new one some day. I may have taken this opportunity to make it bigger and deeper too:)My folks are also in town today also. I've got lots of ranting to get off my chest though and I have to post my closing arguments for both sides before Tuesday... That should be thrilling. Ha ha.

Looking forward to the closing arguments. Bummer about the pond but unbelievable that you came home in the nick of time. How long do fish live mostly out of water? Say Hi to your folks from us.
